Start of a new trilogy from the authors of Expanse. Looking forward to it. Has anybody read it yet?

Haven't heard of it. Is it in the same vein as the Expanse series?

Looks interesting. I had a few Audible credits, just picked it up. I loved the Expanse.

I started this yesterday. On Chapter 10 now. It’s very reminiscent of Three Body Problem if you skipped straight to book 2.

You've piqued my interest.

I'm 8 or 9 chapters in. Started off kind of slow but it's getting really interesting now. I hope I don't really in to the story just to find out the author is going to pull a GRRM and release the books every 18 years.

Picked this up last night from Barnes & Noble. Only got through 2 chapters. Interesting set up of the world so far; how they don't know how humans came to the planet, and how they've just discovered how native species and Earth species can now interact at a cellular level.

They were pretty good about getting the Expanse books released in a timely manner.

I’m on Chapter 24. I’m just now getting familiar enough with the characters to recognize them by name. I’m not sure which had so much trouble with that for this book. Other than that I’m enjoying it. I particularly like the POV chapters for the Carrax and Swarm. That’s as much detail as I’ll go to avoid spoilers.

I finished it yesterday. It's kind of slow at times but it's definitely setting up an interesting story. I'm looking forward to the next one.

Finished it last night. The book didn't wow me, but it held my interest. Good set up for future novels at the end. I hate that I have to wait a year or more to get the next installment.
