Improved Memphis in one years from 32 points per game to 26.4

Started from covid year at FSU in a bad situation with the 105th ranked defense. Since then

Scoring Defenses Ranks
2020 105th 36 ppg
2021 67th 26.5 ppg
2022 20th 20.6 ppg
2023 6th 15.9 ppg

- Five players with 5+ sacks
- Third in country in sacks (10th last year, 42nd in year 2, and 104th in year one)
- Money wasn't the only reason they nabbed all the top transfers we were going after (Fiske, Verse, Cypress)
- Their defensive recruiting class for 2024 is freaking LOADED.
-Primary recruiter on the #3 CB in the country Charles Lester (who knows, maybe we can poach at least one elite defensive player)

They just held a Louisville offense that was averaging 33 points per game, to 6 points despite having no offense (FSU) to speak of. Haven't given up 30 points in any game all season and only gave up more than 20 points 3 times.

BTW, he's scheduled to make "only" 1.2 mill in 2024 after a 2 year extension last December.

He can win a championship at LSU.

Yea I’d make that move for sure. His team also just got left out after being undefeated so if you want to coach real football you have to be in the sec

Fuller is definitely a really good one. He runs a style that would be a much better fit with our talent. Also, he’s been very effective at getting impact portal players ready to go game one in his scheme two years in a row against us, which is something House struggled with.

We would definitely have to overpay to get him though, as he’s been with Norvell for a while and has a great gig where he is. Or he may just say no, no matter what. But it’s definitely worth asking to see if he may be looking for a new challenge.

FSU isn’t going to let him get away with all the chaos right now. They feel scorned as it is and cannot let one of their coaches get cherry picked. Would be a terrible message to the team who is already being told great season but you guys just aren’t good enough and your conference sucks.

Not saying I wouldn’t make a run at him, just saying FSU cannot let it happen.

FSU’s OC’s buyout is 100% if he terminates his contract.

I can’t find anything on Fuller

Fuller makes $1.2M in 2024

House has $4.1M remaining on his.

Then you’d have to get him around $2M annually to make the move.

So around $9.5M over two years for one coordinator position.

His defense was the best I saw this year. If it is possible he would be the coach for us.

He was one broken leg away from winning one at FSU this year

Truth. That would've been fun to watch them with Travis.

Would definitely make him say no if he’s not interested.

Houses would be irrelevant if we let him find another job.

If he doesn’t want to then we embarrass his arse and fire him

I just find it amusing how freely people want to spend other people’s money

You pay the head coach $10M annually. A former coach $2M annually. The coordinators make millions …

his team would likely be a top 4 seed with a bye in the new playoff system, and a lock to continue in the future in an easy ACC. i don’t see why he would leave his current situation considering his current defense and recruits are better than LSU’s. FSU would probably just match any offer given to him too

When House is replaced, who are we going to get that will make your numbers substantially lower?

FSU has had trouble paying staff in the past

Someone that’s not currently a sitting DC with a multi-year buyout

Jim Leonhard, Geoff Collins. I was hoping Clark Lea would have come available.

I think LSU sticks with House 1 more year. His contract obviously shortens a year from now, you have O’s separation agreement lessened a year from now, etc.

You do realize fsu played only one acc team this year that had less than 4 losses right?
