I was in section 631 in the dome sitting right next to the late TD poster Coolidge.

That was an awesome night!

Correction: Watched the game in N.C. with family. Weeks later our unit deployed to TQ as the Marines returned to Al Anbar province.

LMAO when Coach Stoops lost his mind during the halftime interview when he was asked about how physically dominating we were. I'll never forget it. He could barely form a complete sentence b/c he was so PO.

22 years old....halfway through my junior year at LaTech....we had a huge party at the fraternity house for the game and we were all voiceless by the end of it.

All the Louisiana natives anyway....TX, MS, and Arky guys were all pissed that LSU actually won....I don't remember the dollar amount, but I remember one guy from Dallas that bet with a bookie back home on OU. He was a little girl for months after that over it because we wouldn't let him forget!

Senior Year @ LSU. House party off campus. Throwing Dice. Couple of kegs, etc. Bunch of people. Going nuts. Was a hell of a party; no one was a stranger that night after the Ship and everyone went home happy, with an old friend or new.

Was with 3 of my best friends who had been traveling to watch the tigers together for years. We never missed a game, home or away for 16 years. Not gonna lie, i got misty eyed. I had made peace with the fact that I would never see a national championship for LSU. I’ve now seen 3. Hopefully get to witness a few more before I kick it.

I was in the worst seat in the dome. I would have liked to have a better seat but otherwise, there was no place that I would have rather been. Geaux Tigers!!!
