Rear view mirror comparisons are for losers.

You should love them then. But seriously, you asked if people were happy with a Sweet 16 appearance and not advancing. Yes, compared to what we were doing, I'm satisfied with the progress of the program. If we don't progress and breakthrough between this year and next year or two, then maybe I'll want something different. But he has built a consistent winner that is making the tournament and that is the first step in building a really good program that accomplishes even more.

I see more posts referencing Wade criticism than actual Wade criticism. Obviously there are disappointing games during the course of a basketball season. However the truth is only the most idiotic and ignorant LSU fans would ever seriously consider LSU better off without Will Wade. You’d have to be a literal retarded person to not love what Will Wade is doing for our program.

Finally some honesty.

So many of y’all are fans, not so much of LSU, as you are Wade. It’s as if he has a team of internet trolls out there looking for every chance to blow the Wade trumpet.

I am completely open to whatever is best for LSU. After 5 years I cannot honest say that Wade is that guy.

Sure he’s better than what we had but so what? Times have changed and it’s not 2018 anymore and that was one 16.

As fans, why not want more? Why not?

Uhh was this the first time you’ve checked the rant after a loss? This is par for the course in every sport.

Hell even after wins, there are people calling for coaches heads.

Simple. It became clear that he is a less-than-average basketball coach. He can recruit, but his teams have no discipline, no fundamentals, and do not play as a team. He gets great talent and hopes.

You are absolutely full of shite and your woeful lack of the intricacies of college basketball is evident to even the most casual of observers. Come back after you understand the different schemes used to advance a team despite it’s serious lack of experience and how radically it effects THIS teams wind and losses. Until then, you would better serve yourself by silencing your mouth and watch an up and coming young coach. Will Wade is not the second coming but he has the earmarks of potential. He is a breath of fresh air in a program that devolved into mediocrity and had returned LSU to a degree of respectability. The future looks bright. Our trajectory has been altered with Pinson’s, Days, and Millers injuries however Wade has pushed through with some expected setbacks. Tennessee will be tough but possible. Alabama was lucky to take a win, just look at the joy on Oats face. Tigers will be in the big dance in March. Just enjoy it.

This guy has given hope by a sweet 16 spot, multiple visits to the tournament, raking in big recruits, and winning SEC titles all while being younger than your lover Dale Brown.

Lol
I certainly was not dale brown lover!

I literally have no skin in the game other than being an LSU fan. I don’t get attached to coaches.

When wade was hired, I was very optimistic. I thought he had a great pedigree and would be a huge improvement. Initially, I was very happy. The recruiting mess bothered me but I realize the entire basketball world is corrupt to some degree and really don’t care anymore about whether wade broke rules or not.

It’s all about what he’s doing on the court. It’s about the trend. 2018 is over.
I’m seeing nothing great lately so I wonder, can we do better?

It's definitely unique. You can see with the upvotes in your post a large majority are indeed happy.

But for some reason with Wade, there is an EXTREMELY loud minority who absolutely melt down after a loss.

I think it's a combination of people who are new to basketball and are reacting like football and also people who HATE the cult of personality that wade has created. They are a small minority but they are loud.

Bc no coach since Dale brown has gotten us in the NCAA this consistently....that's why....and if you can't see that you are straight up ignorant or playing games just to be a contrarian.

This is so predictable. I commented when everyone was anointing him during his early win streak that as soon as the road gets tough, the Rant would light the torches and grab a rope. Let the man do his job while the players develop and gain experience. Then over the course of several seasons, or violations, or recruiting collapses or toxic behavior the school can take action. But this place acts like we can deliver a baby in 4 and a half months if we put 2 women on it. Be patient and grow up.

Probably right.

That said, there are some who also feel Wade is infallible. It is equally annoying. Just on the opposite end of the spectrum. And I say that as someone who thinks Wade is best thing that has happened to LSU basketball in 30 years.

This is my thing.

We’re 14-0 when all starters are fully healthy with wins over Kentucky and Tennessee in conference.

We’re 1-3 when all starters are not fully healthy with road losses to Auburn and Alabama.

We’ll be alright.

They are not LSU fans. You are most likely arguing with trolls from Oxford, Tuscaloosa, or College Station.
