Called it a little early, said after the summer break… but can Ferrari not implode and give Merc their constructor spot?

Looks like they screwed up already

McLaren ran a decent race today. Cars seem to be in a much better place.

Did Lewis just say his liquids were broken during the race?

What’s the point of showing these every week if they’re gonna cut out audio for all of it

Midfield battle is gonna be tight coming down the stretch. Alpine vs McLaren.

I think Ferrari may actually have the best car but the mistakes have killed them. It’s beyond shocking how retarded they are.

Did you hear on the Max interview, I think a producers mic was hot and when Nico was talking you hear “stop talking”

You mean when the engine isn’t exploding and catching fire?

I mean reliability is a big piece of this as well. Who cares if you have a rocket for half the race or two to three races before the car fails again.

Sainz working so hard to pass Checo (or was it Russell—I can’t remember) and then immediately pitting was something.

I agree with this but they have made a ton of bad calls that have cost them points as well. Drivers and box alike.

For sure. But early on redbull had some reliability issues too.

It’s just when they arent having any mechanical issues redbull or Mercedes’ hardly make a dumb strategy mistake yet with Ferrari it’s nearly every weekend. It’s actually mind boggling how they can be so good at building a car at this level but can’t get simple strategy concepts down.

Like they gained absolutely nothing by pitting Sainz today at the end but lost 2 spots. It’s crazy.

I know the radio messages are delayed but yelling box box as sainz passes the pits while passing Perez on the outside of the track just sums up Ferrari this year

I can even accept that they decided he couldn't make it to the end but the total frickery on the radio every race is just clownshow. And they almost killed someone in the pits with a slow stop and then a very unsafe release

I’m hindsight I think Ferarri did the right thing.

Sainz had to be 5 seconds on Russell/Checo and last another 10 laps. If he isn’t, he’s at beat p4 which is the same points as p5 + fastest lap. They already have one DNF and they can’t risk a second. I think the odds of Saints actually finishing P3 were slim.
