After The 3 play drive before half against Texas, I thought this team was going to be special. That was a professional drive. Still think the touchdown to JJ was the best throw of the season.

Could: When we beat Bama. Though I remember thinking several times after that game that our defense was eventually going to cost us. Thank goodness they tightened up for the NC run. Would: Burrow to Marshall TD 4th qtr of NC game.

The demolition of the Aggies. It started with the kickoff and ended when the game finished. Systematic, effortless, focused, un-flinching, steam-rolling, teamwork.

Called my brother after the GA Southern game and told him we were winning it all. He didn’t believe me. I was intoxicated and don’t really know if I believed it. Something about that first TD to chase. I just knew it was different.

For me it was after 3 and 17.

This will be the popular answer it if we are honest, it wasn’t until the last second left the clock vs Bama.

That was the last/only team that could have beaten the 2019 tigers.

This 100%. First post for me. I signed up to reply to this post. I’ve lurked on this board for years and seen endless 3rd & 17 posts. That was child’s play compared to the throw before halftime. A back shoulder dime like that was a throw I’ve never seen by a college QB. My dad flew in for that game. I remember looking at him in that moment and we both knew right then and there we could outrun anyone in the country. Still gives me goosebumps.

3rd and 17 against Texas is when I knew Burrow was on another plane and we had never had a QB like him.

Thought we could win it after the Texas game.

I was literally never certain of more than anything in my life that we would win it after we beat Bama because of how we beat Bama in Bama.

I wasn't even remotely worried when we were down 17-7 to Clemson.

Scoring at will against Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Different team with a different mindset led by Joe Burrow.

After the performance of our O-Line against Florida I thought we could win it all

Beating Bama reinforced that but beating Georgia made me pretty sure

Could: Beating Alabama
Would: When the final rankings came out and we were placed back at #1, avoiding playing Clemson and Ohio State back to back. Getting a layup in Oklahoma sealed the deal for me.
