Balkanization is the most likely outcome. 12-18 new countries with alliances and future conquest dwindling the number down 4-6 stable and functional countries is our future.

Needs to be 3 countries. US West coast, Hawaii, and British Columbia from Canada. Alaska, Yukon, NW Territories, 3 middle canadian provinces, then middle America from Idaho south to Arizona and rust belt/great lakes states down to North Carolina and everything in between. We will have to reclaim Illinois and Colorado and run the filth out.
3rd country is east coast and the eastern Canadian provinces
