Thieves are getting way too smart.
I have a convention in Nola early March at the Roosevelt. I’ve decided I’m not driving around the city I’m going straight there and valet parking. I’m not ubering. I will go anywhere nearby within walking distance and be back at hotel before 1 am.

Nothing wrong with your strategy, but ride shares are perfectly safe if you verify your driver, which is easy todo.I doit every time I use Uber of Lyft. You just walk behind the vehicle and check the license plate.
