There is nothing but good for Ukraine in this current situation.

If a really hot civil war breaks out (it's been very limited so far), then Russia will be forced to pull even more troops from Ukraine to respond.

At the least this takes Wagner off the battlefield, thats 25K of Russia's most effective fighting force.

They can’t use their standard canned responses and the usual lame social media resources right now. This latest development has these poor folks all out of sorts with maybe having to think for themselves a little

A tank battle in Red Square for control of the Kremlin would be cool to watch.

I have to say I agree with you. And you’re right, at the very least this takes 25,000 of Russia’s best troops off the chessboard. And it appears there is already fighting breaking out in Russia so it’s highly likely Russia will have to pull even more troops off the lines in Ukraine for use in Russia.

The offer of Ugandan security isnt a stretch.
Ugandans will defend whatever they're paid to. They were used extensively in Iraq.

Just got in from a long hitch from Tokyo and check my phone to see 30+ pages from last I checked. Can someone give me the bullet points of what happened or is it just trolls again? I know Prigozhin has a warrant for his arrest in Russia but anything else? Thanks for catching me up y’all.

How it Started: Putin invaded Ukraine to eliminate Nazis.

How’s it Going: Putin has fled Moscow to avoid capture by a rapid, hyper nationalist paramilitary group styled after the Nazis.

This is an interesting post simply because Utkin's name has been missing from Wagner's actions for a long time now. Is Utkin leading the columns heading toward Moscow? Thats new info.

There is information that terrorist Prigozhin has placed his headquarters in the bunker of the Southern Military District command at a depth of 40 meters. He fears being eliminated by a strike of Kinzhal or Iskander missiles.

Reportedly, he is waiting for his rebel partner Yevgeny Utkin's detachment to enter Moscow and seize the building of the Ministry of Defense and the General Staff of the Russian Federation. After which, Prigozhin, as an ultimatum, will allegedly demand dismissal of Shoigu and Gerasimov, and if Putin refuses, then Prigozhin will declare himself a military dictator - the savior of Russia.

Maybe Putin sees this as a way out and sanctioned Prig to go after the MOD. Putin removes the MOD leadership and uses the "they lied to me narrative" to end the war. Seems a very low probability to me. Or more likely put Prig over the MOD and amps up their war efforts.

I have been emailing and texting friends in Moscow and St Petersburg and even called my ex-wife who lives in Moscow. Most of these friends and especially my ex-wife had fallen for the Russian propaganda about the fall big time. However, they all are second guessing it now. They are questioning their support for Putin, the war, and basically everything. One said that if Putin was lied to and then the liars should be shot and Putin should commit suicide because he believed them. I don’t see how Putin has the political capital to double down on the war or survive if he tries to back out of it. I am not saying this is the end of Putin because dictators have ways of staying in power. I am just saying that I don’t see how he stays in power much longer.
