So what happens if Prigo does succeed? Will he instill competence in the military?
I don’t even know this guys politics. short term it’s great for Ukraine, but what about long term?

How it Started: Putin invaded Ukraine to eliminate Nazis.

How’s it Going: Putin has fled Moscow to avoid capture by a rapid, hyper nationalist paramilitary group styled after the Nazis.

This is an interesting post simply because Utkin's name has been missing from Wagner's actions for a long time now. Is Utkin leading the columns heading toward Moscow? Thats new info.

Maybe Putin sees this as a way out and sanctioned Prig to go after the MOD. Putin removes the MOD leadership and uses the "they lied to me narrative" to end the war. Seems a very low probability to me. Or more likely put Prig over the MOD and amps up their war efforts.

I have been emailing and texting friends in Moscow and St Petersburg and even called my ex-wife who lives in Moscow. Most of these friends and especially my ex-wife had fallen for the Russian propaganda about the fall big time. However, they all are second guessing it now. They are questioning their support for Putin, the war, and basically everything. One said that if Putin was lied to and then the liars should be shot and Putin should commit suicide because he believed them. I don’t see how Putin has the political capital to double down on the war or survive if he tries to back out of it. I am not saying this is the end of Putin because dictators have ways of staying in power. I am just saying that I don’t see how he stays in power much longer.
