Chuck Pfarrer, so take it with a grain of salt

I understand what the accounting error was but I never once said that I think we paid Prigozhin off nor did I even bring it up.

I am saying that's what Putin and his cronies are going to push in Russian media about Prigozhin.

I'm not sure how you interpreted what I said as me personally believing we paid him.

Ukraine Defense Minster alleges good gains in 3 separate areas yesterday:

Ukraine’s defence forces are making gains in southern and eastern Ukraine, advancing 1,300 metres on the Berdiansk front, 1,200 metres on the Klishchiivka front, and 1,500 metres on the Kurdiumivka front.

They have also retaken an area near Bahkmut

British Defence Intelligence
INTELLIGENCE UPDATE
UPDATE ON UKRAINE 29 june 2023

On 24 June, air defence forces of the Wagner private military company reportedly shot down Russian military helicopters and an Ilyushin 11-22M airborne command post aircraft.

The II-22M is part of a relatively small fleet of up to 12 aircraft, heavily utilised for both airborne command and control, and radio relay tasks. These special mission aircraft have played a key role in orchestrating Russian forces in their war against Ukraine. As high value assets they have operated within the safety of Russian airspace, far beyond the range of Ukrainian air defence systems.

The loss of this aircraft is likely to have a negative impact on Russian air and land operations. In the short term the psychological shock of losing a large number of aircrew in this manner will almost certainly damage morale within the Russian Aerospace Force. In the longer term, there is a realistic possibility that current tasking levels may have to be reduced to safely manage the remaining fleet. This will likely undermine Russia's ability to command and coordinate its forces, particularly during periods of high tempo operations.

I do think that where we are seeing a lot of the positive footage coming out from i.e. Bahkmut is due to the below

- The units there have been in that particular area for months, they know it well and have copious amounts of real time experience in its conditions and are simply having a greater degree of success.

Yes, but Ukraine also recently added the newly formed 22nd Mechanized Brigade to the fight around Bakhmut. They mostly have old Soviet stuff, but they did get some of the Polish-donated PT-91s. LINK

A couple of weeks ago, Ukraine was making slow progress south of Bakhmut but was basically stuck in the northern flank.

Adding an additional brigade has really accelerated Ukrainian progress around Bakhmut in the last few days, both north and south of the city.

I expect to see Ukraine take Klishchiivka in the next couple of days, and that will open up the southern flank for further gains.

Yep. Poland just got approved for an additional $15 billion of US military equipment. That's a lot of jobs for hardworking Americans.

This list puts in perspective how comparatively little Ukraine has gotten. What has Ukraine gotten.

~30 abrams
~0 jets
~40 HIMARS
~0 helicopters

I get the Poland order will be filled over a decade, but man they are still scraping the barrel of what they really need.

To add to these thoughts, I think that Ukraine has added the 22nd to the Bakhmut fight specifically because of the Wagner mutiny. If Bakhmut is retaken by Ukraine, that will have a tremendous impact in Russia, as it will humiliate the Russian MoD and cause a significant shift in Russian public opinion towards Wagner.

Different equipment for different terrain. The Korean tanks are for more hilly/mountainous terrain. Terrain map shows flat land only at Kaliningrad

All manner of radars to include Patriot systems;
Small arms, probably over a billion rounds in small arms ammunition;
Javelins, AT4s;
Anti air missiles;
Ground to ground missiles and rockets;
Anti ship missiles;

Etc etc etc

It seems like the Russian government warned CAR’s & Malian government on a change of the lead of the Wagner group.

They (russian government) likely took control over the PMCs.
