People hinting at Justice Williams
If Justice comes back, I would have to believe that we are done with guards as a priority, and need to devote the rest of the attention to some big guys. KJ and Shareef would be huge, and Fudge would complete that need.

So starting lineup:
PG- Justice Hill
SG- Cam Hayes
SF- Mwani Wilkinson
PF- Kendal Coleman
C- KJ Williams

BENCH
Cornelius Williams, F
Trae Hannibal, G
Derek Fountain, F
Jalen Reed, F
Justice Williams, G
Tyrell Ward, F

ETA: Added Derek Fountain.
ETA: Added Jalen Reed
ETA: Added Justice Williams
ETA: Added Tyrell Ward
ETA: Added KJ Williams (whew)

We have solid team if we pull in all of those guys. Heck, we might be better than this past year if you factor in our injuries.

I would expect at least 2 more transfers out of left field. Dudes we haven’t hardly mentioned

.

Obviously LSU will still need frontcourt players, but they will also desperately need shooting. None of those guys are great outside shooters. LSU is going to some one (perhaps a few someones) who can stretch the defense or else the paint will become a VERY congested place in which to operate.

I agree that we will need more shooting, but we need some big guys even more. Plus, if we get Shareef and KJ (I know, big if) then some of our scoring will come from them. Then we really would only need one more big shooter at SG / SF.

With possibly only 5 open spots left, we lack a center and any bigs off the bench who will help this coming year. That and our guards are pretty small right now.

Perhaps a name to keep an eye on his Brandon Huntley-Hatfield from Tennessee who entered the portal a few days ago. He was a 5 star PF recruit that signed with UT last season. He didn't play a ton this year, but certainly has ideal size and the potential to really develop. Also, that could have been because Tennessee has some upperclassmen frontcourt players Barnes trusted more. He took visits to Ole Miss and Memphis before signing with Tennessee. LSU has assistant coaches from both of those programs now on staff. In fact, Hatfield's primary recruiter at Ole Miss was Ronnie Hamilton...who is now an LSU assistant coach.

If Justice comes back he’s our 7th scholarship guy that would mean we would have 6 more spots right

Guards:Justice Hill, Trae Hannibal , Justice Williams, Cam Hayes
Wing: Mwani Wilkinson
Bigs: Coleman( probably a PF though) Williams (HS recruit prolly won’t play next year)

Maybe add another shooter and then go gets some bigs have an actual chance to be good next year just has to gel

If one of the bigs is KJ we would already have a gelled core.

LSU is supposed to get a visit from 3* recruit, Noah Batchelor out of IMG (originally from Maryland). He's a 6'6 - 7 wing/shooter. He was originally committed to Memphis, but decomitted a few months back. His Memphis tie was now LSU assistant, Cody Toppert. He recently named LSU and Maryland as his top two schools. Obviously Maryland is home for him and may be tough to beat. They also have Seton Hall's former coach now. The sell for LSU would have to be style of play and a potential very clear pathway to early PT.

Might leave us a little small but they'd all be takes.
Shannon can be a stud.
Not really having any input on the SEC players made me realize that I'm primarily watching our guys during games and hardly noticing the other teams players - just the scoreboard.
