I have this same rod and I'm a big fan. I was used to very fast actions when I purchased but decided I wanted something different. This fits the bill and I find it a lot of fun to cast. If you're not planning on throwing big bugs, streamers, or bobbers--I'd strongly recommend it. Heavier stuff can get a little clunky to throw.
