They also have a provison in that lovely statute that caps Commifornia college coaches salaries at 50% of the average salary of a power 5 coach. So, not only do you live in the most expensive state in the country, with the highest state tax rate in the country, now they want to cap coaches pay. Unreal.

The vast majority of the top coaches' income isn't from base salary, but from endorsements, appearance fees, media fees and success bonuses. I suspect that, like most things in California, appearance here is more important than reality.
