Felt really confident coming into the game. Mikie Mahtook and company got me super pumped and maybe had my purple goggles on.

That’s what I’m saying. CPM left the shelf empty in a few key places. The pitching is a complete rebuild. And it will take more than 1 or two seasons to get back to the standard of what is expected.

Held to 6 hits through 7 innings was not something I would have expected until we went against Southern Miss and their pitching staff. I thought we would score 9+ runs against KSU

Yep. Told folks if lsu went 0-2 I wouldn’t be shocked. Just have to go back to the ole miss series to see how bad this team can play over a weekend.
