Yeah it’s not the 1930s. Get a fricking job and stop robbing people.

Did he know the guy in white?
It sounds like he says “Jacob” when asking him to leave the coins

I want to know if that last stab to the back of the neck paralyzed ol’boy. Looks
Like he went limp after saying “I’m dead, I’m dead”

He is 17 so the police haven’t released any info.

Pretty sure the kid is still alive. The Asian guy did an AMA on Reddit, if you can believe it. I don't blame the store owner for defending himself, but I find it hard to believe he won't catch any charges over this. It's going to be hard to claim he was in fear of his life when the kid didn't even come at him and he had to run across half the store to stab him. Then again, Nevada has pretty decent self defense laws from what I've seen. It will be interesting.

After review looks he was just working the knife for whatever he could find not sure he was using a specific technique. I count at least 3 good hits that could have been fatal depending on blade length.
Kidney/ lower lung, thigh shot possibly nick femoral but it was to outer thigh so probably not,
Neck stab dude went limp so possibly hit on spine but that would be luck hitting between vertebrae.
Had he really wanted to end it he would have moved the blade up 4 inches and put it in the off switch.

Wow! I hope the store owner didn’t pull a muscle doing that. Pulled muscles can be painful.

The dude jumped across the counter. You’re an idiot.

I would counter that by saying, firstly, I have no problem with the store owner doing what he did, especially in today's climate. Obviously criminals seem to think it's open season on retail stores and they know the cops will do even less now than they ever did. The kid jumping over the counter was an act of aggression and he deserves to get wasted at that point as far as I'm concerned.
But I don't think it makes me an idiot to think that the store owner will face some charges over this, especially in today's climate. The only thing that might mitigate it is that the robber doesn't seem to have been a minority, so there's less chance the media will jump all over it.
The Reddit discussion is pretty funny.
