Another summer ball assignment I've found is Mic Paul playing for La Crosse in the Northwoods league. He may be joined by Nippolt and Frey there but they aren't showing on the roster there.

Applebey may be headed for Danville in the Prospect League, but their roster isn't updated yet either.

I'll keep adding assignments as I find them.

Thank you. I'm still getting blank screens on the roster pages for Cape Cod on pointstreak.

Excited about this. Anyone want to take a stab at what’s in it

They're going from the regular black trashbag batter's eye to a force-flex scented black trashbag.

I have a feeling whatever it is, it's years away from becoming a reality.

At least 2 things get rid of the fricking 3rd and 1st base bullpens. Also, no more bleachers replace them with folding chair seats. Good way to start.

I thought for sure those bullpens were gonna change this off season. I guess not.

They are pressure washing the middle school bleachers in left field

I heard from someone that they got an estimate on what it would take to do that and it was way more than they thought. It will be done eventually because I know Jay wants that.

Yeah my top 3 on the list

1. move the bullpens
2. chairbacks everywhere (bleachers in baseball is a crime at this level).
3. Figure out a way to bring a better environment/atmosphere from the students with a outfield situation. Idk what the fix is but something has to happen like State and Arkansas have.

Just keeping the marshals out of the student section would be a good start. Any time they start getting loud the marshals shut them down

I know most, if not all, saw this but:

Ackenhausen was listed as 24 on the top 50 transfers list by D1 Baseball. I think he could help us in alot of different roles. He has experience as a starter if we needed it. He could surely help if/when Cooper is taxed as a LH bullpen arm. We have some freshman that could also contribute as a LH bullpen guy, but Ack has alot of experience. He could also finish games if we needed him to in a closer/finisher role - he has experience there, too.

Neal, Jones, Kling, Guidry, Shores, and Noot were named top 100 freshman by Perfect Game. Neal, Jones, Kling, and Guidry will obviously play at least some this season...and I'd expect at least a few will play alot. Shores can serve multiple roles on the mound, all of which will likely be needed at times. Anxious to see his progression under Wes. Noot is a wild card for me. He is really, really good. Electric. If he's healthy, I could see him being a prominent arm on this staff right away.

DRock88, Can I get ahead of myself? Come June do you think Noot, Shores, or Little factors in the most? Thanks I'll hang up and listen.

Agreed on Shores. By June he’ll be pushing for highest FB velo on the team.

heading to the postseason, I think Shores/Taylor will end up being that 4th guy in the rotation. The other will probably work the backend with Little. That's my prediction at least.

Honestly, hard to tell this early, especially with not having seen much out of Little here and nothing out of Noot yet. At this point, it looks like it'll be Shores. He's been healthy, effective, and progressing. I think Noot is as good or better, but we'll have to see. Little has alot to prove before I can consider where he'll stack up.
