Whatever they start doing when they were down two scores looked exciting. If they can replicate that for a full game that’s going to be exciting. 99 yards with a minute and change every play you have to have it. I think FSU having a game to warm up before this one was worth one point advantage to them. LSU came out flat in the first half, but when they got down two scores that offense hit a gear that FSU couldn’t match. The momentum of the game started to shift and if they played OT who knows with a hot QB. Sucks they lost but despite how bad they played it’s some good things to takeaway from it as they move forward. That offense has the potential to take LSU to a similar trajectory as Burrows first year to the Fiesta Bowl. That defense was not bad but outside of #5 coming up to lay hits on ball carries I didn’t see anyone flash.

The tempo offense is good enough to compete in SEC. Look at Tennessee offense… I think that’s the model we should be trying to install.
Our defense is so suspect. Kevin Steel baby shite soft zones are not the answer. Every 5-8 yard route was uncontested… even on 3rd downs.

This offensive scheme will not win in the SEC. PAC 12, Oregon Duck style, maybe.
