I disagree. It's the whole dual threat label more than anything. There's a racial element to the JJ, BH and Jennings comparisons, but I think that's more ignorance than racism. Rohan and Jamarcus were highly revered black quarterbacks.

I just think you guys are saying some absolute BS about him, and those guys see that shite, and it’s wrong. And not even guys who are currently on the team, but recruits, other coaches and fans, and they’ll use our extremism about LSU football against us.
Yeah, say he should have caught those passes, because he should have, or that he needs to stay more composed, but calling him lazy, a quitter, a POS who’s stealing money from Gordon who most of us could care less about him losing money, or calling him AB 2.0, or saying he should kill himself, is taking things way too far and they are blanket statements. No proof to any of that. AB is the way he is because he’s legitimately fricked up in the head. So Boutte is fricked up in the head now?
Those are serious things to say about someone, especially someone you don’t know, and all over a game. And at the end of the day, he’s playing for the university that we all root for. There’s nothing wrong with criticism, but our fans are taking this shite way too far.

He’s behaving like a diva. At this point I wouldn’t be surprised to see him just walk off the field and quit on his team during a game.

My point is, if you didn’t play football at a high level, then you don’t really know all the things that go on during competition. I don’t know those things, but I understand that things happen, and will give players and coaches the benefit of the doubt. I worked for a CFB program so I’ve been able to understand those things more, from watching every single practice, and game from the football field.

Don't put words in my mouth. I'm saying he had one foot out the door in the off season (fact) and he appeared to be totally checked out for most of the game last night (my opinion).
I don't give a frick about Gordon or his money. I only brought that up to point to the decision that Boutte made to stay at LSU.
I don't see anyone really calling him a POS or telling him to kill himself. I certainly don't condone that and I haven't seen anyone speaking like that in this thread.

Get rid of the #7 it’s a myth these days.. the last 2-3 players who have worn them have become Diva’s and then the media, fans label them All World players and NFL 1st round picks which most are but it goes to their head.. these same players are the ones who then play half arse not to get hurt or opt out becuz they don’t want to ruin their Pro career and win the lottery…add the NIL and college football doesn’t have the same commitment from top 5* players that it had years ago..don’t settle on a 5* player on your team as future stars becuz if it’s not going right for them and more NIL money is offered from another program “pucker up and can kiss that baby goodbye”…
