“Who done it’s” are hard in general, not just for BRPD. With these types of cases, phone records of the victim are useless. Doesn’t matter if she’s having issues with anyone. Have to get lucky. Hopefully the suspect(s) touched the vehicle leaving contact DNA and/or latent fingerprints. NIBIN may be able to help but not likely. Also have to hope camera footage is able to aid. Short of any of those happening, have to hope for a tip. Whoever did this has talked about it.

Those shell casings pick up fingerprints pretty well. How many criminals think to wipe down every cartridge before loading it into the magazine? People talk about semi-autos jamming but the real case for a revolver is that it doesn't leave shell casings scattered around.
