I have always been high on Herbie, he really likes LSU and has always been fair, what else can u ask for

The man is as good as it gets for College Football analysts, and sports really. Yeah many disagree with him on the 2020 stuff, myself included, but it doesn’t change how I view him

Fowler and Kirk are the best PBP/Color combo in the sport. And imo it's really not close. I'm glad we had them for the game and you could tell they thought it was a privilege to be there.
They're not local guys so they're not always going to be sunshine pumpers especially when things weren't going well, they have a job to be as objective as they can. But over the last two years Kirk has made comments about wanting LSU to be good again and he never jumped on the bandwagon to mock BK going here, in fact he was excited for us
I never bought into the idea that he hates LSU like some others do. They enjoy coming to DV and calling games and want LSU to be good.

Never really had a problems with him, sometimes on broadcast he can go over board hyping a players (B Young-T Lawrence) to name a few.
But don’t ever doubt he would have been sucking off Alabama after the game if they would have won. It’s his business to pump the winners.

Met him when they were here in 2007 for Va. Tech game. Very nice guy when he didn’t need to be.

I vehemently disagree with the BLM crap, but it’s over.
Herbstreit has been a staple in my life of fandom growing up on Saturday mornings and I thank him for that. Nothing like waking up fired up for college Gameday and hearing his voice.
