Holy contradiction Batman.

So you say he left Dylan alive on purpose after she saw him. But also state he knows of the boyfriend and he would be a suspect.

Leaving the sheath was a frick up. I don’t think he planned to kill Ethan but Ethan was there so he got slaughtered. I don’t think he realized DoorDash just delivered food and people were awake.

It was reported he was a loner in college with a high IQ and studied criminology and BTK's killings. It seems logical and may be soon proven that he had bad interactions with girls and their boyfriends in college. He thought he was intelligent enough to commit the perfect murder. Then he came across a couple or sought a couple who reminded him of others in his past. If true, he would want investigators and the public to know this couple was targeted.

There's no reason to believe BK's IQ is any higher than average.

There's no contradiction. he could have had interactions with the couple outside, that nobody else saw. And the person he left behind who saw him, never could identify to police the person in the mask. Even after he was arrested, she merely stated it could have been him.

Doesn't matter whether he's intelligent or not. It matters that he believes he's more intelligent than anybody else, which these types usually do.

Thank you for stating this guy's state of mind. Even though this has been reported by most media, some here still can't comprehend this.

Dude, you honestly think the defense is entitled to drug test her or get some sort of toxicology from the survivor? Yeah, not possible. She has no obligation to provide them with shite.

Wrong.

They can compel the court to enforce her compliance, and since she was used in the probable cause affidavit you can bet your arse the court will enforce it.

Prosecution can’t use her to justify arrest then say “oh no no sorry she’s off limits”.

Look it sucks for this girl, but it is what it is at this point. You think the defense is going to go easy on her because the defense attorney is a woman? No. That attorney’s prime responsibility is to create as much doubt as possible and punch as many holes in the prosecution’s story as she can and she will use whatever means necessary to do that.
This girl was made a part of this case when they included her in the affidavit.

So your saying in this hypothetical, he knew she saw him and also knew she couldn't identify him?

Are you trying to fill Baldona's shoes?

You're doing a great job!!

Of course, I'm just saying that I don't think she'll testify that she saw Bryan that night. She'll just testify that she saw someone roughly the same height/build as Bryan. The defense will obviously poke holes in that account and try to ensure the jury doesn't find her credible, but based on all the other evidence the prosecution has, I don't think it really matters.

This

If she does this, then there’s no reason for the defense to try and destroy her. She says she saw a man. No big deal. The defense has bigger things to worry about than her seeing A man.

They say you were drunk. She says i was sober by 4am. Or she can agree. So what? they have bigger problems.

No matter what the defense says, The jury isn’t going to believe the “man clad in black” was a figment of Dylan’s imagination unless her friends come forward saying she was tripping on toad Venom that night.

Damn. I can’t imagine seriously thinking he left the sheath on purpose.

Some people have a theory that he left it behind on purpose thinking the USMC would throw off the police and that the DNA on the button was accidental.

I don't believe this theory, but I suppose it's possible.

Well, he knew she could only visually see his eyes and eyebrows, what's hypothetical? During his criminology classes, do you think he learned how hard it was to identify attackers dressed this way?

It is interesting that there was only one spec of dna on the sheath….

It’s POSSIBLE he thought there was none???

I think he either forgot it or it fell off of him during the attack of Kaylee

But it’s POSSIBLE he left it on purpose considering there was just one spec
Anything is possible with this guy who can’t help but tell everyone how he committed the crime on Reddit and Facebook. Not the sharpest tool in the shed…..

He’s a braggart & He may have WANTED to leave a “clue”

DA is still searching for a motive, they will investigate to see if he had bad interactions with girls and their boyfriends in college. And whether such interactions occurred with this couple that he was part of or may have witnessed where she worked. That would be a reason for leaving the sheath by their bodies.
