I realize it is looking ahead, but with as much of an athlete as Perkins is, could he learn to play pass coverage by December 3rd. Brock Bowers has been unguardable all year. Perkins could change that.

He’s already been in pass coverage.

He actually played in the slot several times over the last two weeks.

He’ll “learn” pass coverage as soon as you learn to pay attention watching the game.

If he covers that means isn’t rushing the passer

Bennett will also require a spy, he is dangerous running

The way he can rush the passer, I'm not sure why he would need to. Nobody talks about how Von Miller can cover or not

I know Kelly said it was a mistake to keep him out of the Tenn game, but I figured a lot of it was due to coverage. Hopefully that’s something he can continue to work on. He’s already a freak of nature on the field, but if he can master coverage…UNSTOPPABLE

35 times for 144 yards begs to differ

I really think LSU has a huge advantage here. Stetson’s running has been huge for Georgia this year. He hasn’t seen anyone close to Perkins, since Will Anderson in the natty. He seemed a bit rattled early

Probably. But I can’t think of many scenarios where I’d have him in that role.

Most QB’s can’t pass if they are on their back

Several qb sneaks. Take away the 64 yard touchdown against Auburn and the stats aren’t impressive. If Bennett is beating us with his feet, we have way bigger problems.
