Google SIRVA - shoulder injury related to vaccine administration. I received the J&J shot in November 2021. Within a couple of days, my shoulder started hurting. I couldn't do push ups or flys when working out. Everything hurt way too much. Finally went to a local Dr in June 2022. He said he treats about 6 cases a year, mostly due to flu vaccines but seeing more related to covid. They pinpointed it as most likely caused by the injection being placed too high in the arm. He even said he personally refuses shots in the arm and insists on getting it in the hips when possoble. At that visit, I got a steroid shot and 3 months of PT. Steroid shot helped for a while, PT didn't help at all. Went back in September and got an MRI...found some issues with shoulder but nothing "major." Got a 2nd steroid shot, Dr. said come back if not 100% better by December and most likely will scope it to clean it up. I'm going back to see him 12/19.

The pain is still there. Always worse at night when trying to sleep. Have to decide now whether to get 3rd steroid shot or go ahead and scope it. I'm a little nervous scoping it...will it get better, what if it gets worse, etc...
