I think its cool that they are playing but as an Alabama fan would you not almost want to use the opportunity to get your younger QBs some real game experience against a quality opponent? Or is the thought that your starting QB for next year isn't currently on the roster?

I was fine with kids playing but I think having your leaders make a choice to stick around like this is probably as or more important.

There will be plenty of time to see Simpson (and we've seen Milroe).

Simpson may not be the starting qb for the first game but he will play, and he will be the starting qb by the 3rd game

The thought is you play to win the game. Period.
