The only issue I see with that is it may be too late if you are already a hostage.

I hope you wouldn't take the shot in that situation and miss killing the innocent hostage walmart employee

Are you kidding?

Girl with the gun is completely exposed. Wearing bright pink to highlight center mass.

Stevie Wonder could make that shot.

I would have pulled the trigger until no more bullets were in the magazine.

Maybe, maybe not.

I'm pretty sure that if you fired off a round that hit the perp between the eyes, she’d drop to the floor and you would not have to listen to any screaming.

Do you propose someone carrying at Walmart pull out their weapon in this situation? Take a shot?

Absolutely. You will never have a better shot in real life. Assailant is several feet from victim, good back stop, no one else around, etc.

It's unclear what led to the woman pulling out the gun, but she was seen trembling in distress. The worker wasn't injured.

You’re only going to target the head if target is wearing body armor or is behind cover. If you have to make a shot count, center mass is the best target. Your ammo choice will also influence stopping power, as will your subsequent shots that should continue until you stop the threat. Ideally, you will never hear your target scream unless you frick up. The result of good stopping power is it takes their breath away.

For those not from Central MS. This is not Jxn, it is law and order Rankin County, a place where if you eff around, you will find yourself taking a dirt nap.

And for you John Waynes talking about shooting the perpetrator, you keep your weapon holstered and let LE take care of the situation. Else you may be taking a dirt nap too.

I was hoping the thing in Miami would have at least gotten shot by a Taser.

Depends on the gun. I'd take that shot with my shield, with my Glock 43, I'd want to be closer as that 380 in isn't as accurate as that distance

Also, you are going to have to uncover yourself to take the shite. Will she have enough time to see you?

Now, you could have crawled down that aisle behind the partition but you no longer have a frontal shot and the hostage is in the way even though you are much closer

I find it hilarious that some people are taking up for the gun holding hostage taker! Oh if she was this or that than she would be escorted out and not shot.

IF YOU TAKE A HOSTAGE and refuse to surrender there is ONLY 1 WAY it will end...NOT SORRY FOR HER DEMISE!

Thankful the WalMart worker is okay and a shame our society has to deal with more of this crap every day!
