May be time to go in a different direction with this program. Lsu baseball is an elite program, no reason the softball program shouldn't be also.

If I were Woodward, Torina could do nothing this season to save her job next season. She isn’t gonna win the World Series. Got absolutely embarrassed by Tennessee, yes Tennessee!

Well, it’s still early but a lot of disturbing things about this weekend.

There were a lot of hang dog looks and vacant stares today, like these players have lost a lot of confidence. No fire, no spirit. It’s like the players also are losing confidence in this coaching staff.

I mean TN is good, its one thing to lose but they weren't remotely competitive at all at home with a veteran heavy team.

If it wasn't for a fluke infield fly that 3B misplayed and dropped, we were basically shut out all 3 games at home.

2 runs in 21 innings?

The last few years the same results. It won’t get any better.

As someone said, just a lot of Les Miles/Paul Mainieri vibes about LSU softball.

I’m not saying Tennessee isn’t good, I’m saying Tennessee should NEVER be that much better than LSU especially in a diamond sport.

I do think it’s at the stage where I can imagine Scott Woodward right now in his office and maybe not making preliminary phone calls yet, but definitely looking through his Rolodex and lining up a short list of those coaches he plans to call.

(And yes, I know Rolodexes are obsolete. Just an expression.)

It isn’t just that we got swept at home. We were not even competitive. This is unacceptable at this point. She has had numerous opportunities to make changes and refused. She needs to be given ultimatum and hard decisions made.

Have you seen the coach? Looks bored to death, no energy, and the only expression I see from her is laughter when the girls mess up or get together on the mound. I guess that’s how she copes with pressure. Maybe chew someone’s arse out when they make an error. Change things up. Very disappointed in this weekend. Hope they can bounce back. Go Tigers!

At this stage, I personally am not for a solution that “Coach Torina, you can stay but you need to change your coaching staff.”

Beth has been bound and determined to keep the band together so she’s made her bed and needs to lie in it.

She may keep the band together, but Torina, Dobson, and Leftwich may be coaching together next season at a mid-major.

She's definitely unique in that her persona, youth, and early promise has bought her a lot of goodwill up until now. However we have sucked arse since the day Hoover/Walljasper left

I would still be shocked if she's fired but no way woodward let's her finish another season without any change, unless he's literally paying no attention to the program at all.

Definitely, I cannot see this coaching group improving this team. There is no interest in change or real improvement or just lack of abilities to compete at the higher levels. The ship has sailed…
I hope that SW is paying attention to the Softball product…

This time next week, everything will be
A-Okay. They will beat McNeese. Then they will play, arguably, the worst team in the SEC, Ole Miss, and more than likely sweep them. So, it will be back to unicorns and rainbows.
