They rode the bus to the airport. The WBB Facebook and Instagram pages have pictures of them boarding the plane.

Now living in Utah as an LSU alum and BTR native…
I hope we annihilate the Utes— their fanbase is very uninformed yet very enthusiastic. Stupid rabid fans is a better way to say it.

I watched Utah the other night against Princeton.
Only one game but I wasn’t too impressed.

In other words, exactly like the LSU fan base—the Rant part of it, anyway.

No airport on campus lol. Anyone get the email from LSU about travel packages for the final four? Those prices wow crazy.

We have pretty decent history with our program though. Women's basketball in Baton Rouge used to have a great following, but years of neglect by Joe Alleva made it an afterthought.

The key is the three. If Utah can hit a lot of three pointers they win; if not they lose.

Agreed because that is one area we cannot keep up in as we are not a good 3 point shooting team. We can outrebound them and have fewer turnovers and all that good stuff but still lose if they hit 14 threes and we hit 3.

Michigan was a good 3 shooting team also and lsu held them 23 points below their average. Some of these teams seem much slower than some SEC teams so it’s about playing fast and aggressive.

Anyone know if they are doing a watch party or anything in the PMAC? I could be mistaken, but I think they did something like that when the men made it

Mulkey hasn't outright said it, but she has hinted at Utah's lack of defense on a couple of occasions in her press conferences leading up to today's game. She and the players appear pretty confident.

I was thinking the same thing. I've seen them play twice and they're a team that averages 80+ points, but they also give up close to 70. I think we'll have more success scoring on their defense than they will on ours................and NO WAY will they rebound with us. I think we win this game by 10+ pts, honestly.

I hate going into a game feeling super confident, but I feel the same way. If Utah had more size, I'd be more concerned but they don't have anyone that can really bully us. Angel and LaDazhia should be able to control the paint on both ends of the floor.

I agree but the one girl has a quick first move. Hopefully we stay out of foul trouble.

Yeah, I’m actually pretty confident and a little uneasy that I feel that way.

But we match up with them well. We don’t need to play a perfect game. But if we play well, I think we win.
