What an embarrassing performance
I don’t care if we don’t have Pleasants. Ole Miss is one of the worst teams in the SEC and we got our arse handed to us again

Well, I’ll try to save my commenting for the entire series. But the lack of offense versus SEC pitching is concerning.
But yeah, seems I’ve said that every season since 2019 or so. And I think we can all agree that looking at the program as a whole, retaining the same staff, etc. is falling under the old adage:
Insanity is doing the same thing in the same way over and over again and expecting different results.

This is so disappointing ….
The coaching and the team performance were incredibly subpar like they have given up.
Today, the batting, fielding and pitching let us down .
I think SW needs to start going over his list of potential Head coaching candidates that could help LSU softball ..

It doesn’t matter how good Beth’s recruiting classes are, because once Dobson gets a hold of them, they regress. I don’t know if Woodward needs to shite can Beth just yet, but he needs to have a come to Jesus talk with her about shaking up her staff. If she refuses, then I agree that she’s past her expiration date and needs to go.

This team is much weaker without Pleasants - both offensively and defensively. The HS-age kid is just not yet ready.

I have to repeat that in my opinion, the time for Woodward’s “come to Jesus” talk is long past. Beth insisted for years on sinking or swimming with Dobson and Leftwich.
The boat is full of holes so Torina should get her walking papers along with the assistants.

Winning against weaker teams. This team will struggle in SEC play when Pleasants return. Half the lineup hitting under 300

Their preseason SOS was ranked 19, it wasn’t as weak as Ranters claim.

Be careful. You thought the Pawl defenders were bad. Beth’s make his look calm and collective. But fact is Torino should have either been fired or given ultimatums years ago. The program has regressed consistently year after year.
