That’s what I’ve come to realize…lsu fans scrolling and see lsu lost baseball game to Nicholls are like the wtf
If you watched the game and understand baseball you realize it’s baseball and not cause for concern…that was serious baseball…a team with nothing to lose beat the #1 team in the country sitting starters and played their very best just to win be a literal inch
Hats off to them cause it was awesome to watch

This is an interesting and fresh take. Hasn’t been said before

you have a point that the football onlyfans dont understand that LSUs odds of achieving anything at all they intended to this year, or in postseason neither increased or decreased AT ALL with tonight’s result.
I’d argue if it weighs the scales in any direction at all, facing adversity and defeat should help strengthen the resolve of this team when we reach actual critical moments down the stretch. Just a week ago tRant was in meltdown over a midweek loss and lsu responded with their first SEC sweep of the season.
Here’s to sweeping Bama

Does not compute? So #1 team loses to Nichols(a week after losing to ULL) and that just baseball?

I will admit it, I am a football fan first and know very little about baseball but from my perspective the mid week games used to play usually non-starters and give other guys playing time? Correct? Me if I’m wrong

That may be your take o n the game. What I do know dropping mid week games is a sign that the program has a glaring weakness. We make it to Omaha and drop an opening game or game two, it becomes the death lunch to trying to win it all. Good teams when the mid week games and great teams win the mid week games and sweeps the majority of their weekend series.
