Dobson was the big name before he came. He was the “hot hire” for those that weren’t following the game then. LSU was pumped to get him FWIW. I’m not sure if it is recruiting or what but you’re not going to get many TP or GCs on the regular to come here. They better do something.

Lots of zeros. Shame we play 10 innings and can only score in two innings. And 4 errors. Two many wild throws. And that OLe Miss coach must stop play about every 5 minutes. Never seen so many get togethers. Maybe it helps,I don't know.

This is so obvious. Even today Torina said in the coaches interview segment, "I love our offense" A few days ago she said, "I like where we are at".
Based on that, she isn't going anywhere. So get ready for a rather mundane regional where we don't exactly sail through. If we are fortunate enough to escape its on to another SR loss somewhere and then we will be right back again in February 24 with the same cast of characters running the program.
I mean, who fires a softball coach with a 40 win season? Woodward? I don't think so.

A team that commits four errors in one game simply doesn't deserve to win.

What I see.....
The pitchers, too many of them, not just LSU... will field a ball with a runner on third, and no outs or one out, and throw the ball to first base without checking the runner on third.. this is getting so old, I can't believe a college level player dont know better, and I cant believe a college coach doesnt make a big deal of it when the defense comes off the field.
Physical mistakes will be made, but you can't have the mental errors on a college level like that.
There's really nothing, in the lineup, that could be changed. .. you just have good players making defensive mistakes.
As for Howard, like I always said, we dont know how much he does in terms of altering the way each player bats, but he is responsible for the final product.
I used to think that if Beth was fired, or if she expressed desire to go elsewhere, one of the SEC teams would snatch her up quickly. Maybe South Carolina... but the coaches at each of the other SEC schools seem to shift things around, according to how things are going...
Beth seems to want to keep things the same, I guess....as she says, she is happy with where they are. I like her, and I dont want to see her leave, but there is a staleness that permeates the air these days with LSU Softball.
