Did not expect the Light Dragon origin story to go that way.

So unless the light roots aren't a one-for-one match with all of the shrines on the ground, I somehow missed seven shrines in the sky islands. Looks like I'm going to be putting the hover bike to work.

I started playing last week and I’ve been hooked. The abilities are better than breath of the wild and the zonai devices are very satisfying when you get them right.

I started the wind temple but left to hunt some shrines. I invested early in stamina thinking it was necessary to explore but I’d rather have the hearts at this point.

Tulin's gust boost is a great exploration boon since it can extend your glide distance.

I have 12 hearts and 2 full stamina wheels. Just wondering, should I now alternate hearts and stamina going forward or prioritize one over the other?

I'm in the same boat. I think I'm going to alternate.

Yesterday's lesson was don't eat food with yellow bonus hearts before going into the depths. I ate one that gave me 4 extra hearts, and then the first monster that hit me took all 4 of them vs doing the gloom thing.

I would collect 8 of the light spheres and then go back and get 1 of each at a time. So essentially I alternated

What's your playstyle? I run around a LOT in battle and do a lot of bullet time, so stamina is a bigger boon to me. I only do CQC situationally. Against tougher enemies with a lot of range (like charging Lynels or Gleeok deathbeams) a hasty elixir usually gets me enough separation that I rarely get hit. Granted any hits I take will probably outright kill me, but having a few faeries on hand mitigates that.

The added stamina has a lot more situational use if you ask me. I'm doing roughly 3:2 stamina to hearts right now and probably will until stamina maxes out. But if you're running head-first into combat and relying on handheld weapons/shields more often, then hearts are probably better.

Wait, what do you mean “fairies on hand”? I feel like I’ve missed something big.

If you target some of the sky islands with ponds, there are small fairies that can be caught if you sneak up on them, like you would any other flying bug. If you have them in your inventory and later get one-shot by a strong enemy, each one you have will rez you with about 6 hearts.

They sometimes spawn around the great fairy fountains too I think.

I usually completely forget that I have them until they come and save my arse in battle.

Does anybody know if the mini bosses in the depths respawn at each blood moon?

Excellent, thanks. I feel bad when one of the Depths Talus hearts hammers break, since I've only killed a few of them once.
