2002 Nets v. 2016 Warriors
GO
He's Barkley, basically.

The implication being that the East somehow had the second best team in the league, when they did not.
What team from the West had 70+ wins that year to compare to the Warriors?

Who is ahead of him, and how can they possibly be ahead of the dude with 11 titles if titles have to matter at some point?
They do, and as I stated it’s a calculus. Russell’s combo of stats and winning falls only a hair short. LeBron doesn’t win like him, so he’s not Russell. He’s wilt. Is that where you rank Wilt? #6?

Barkley lost to Jordan with is basically a title in 2023, so Barkley is way ahead of Lebron b/c he's a winner (via losing)

quote:Says the guy who won't actually say Kobe is a better basketball player but is arguing Kobe's 5 over Lebron's 4 but Lebron actually should only have 3, but MJ and his 6 is better than Russell and his 11, but at at some point rings have to matter.
So no, you aren’t producing any serious points here.
Serious points!

The combined Clippers and Warriors.
The Kings did have 61, though.

This is what they do, you try to meet them halfway on their criteria then to discredit you they discredit their own argument. This is what happens when you try to have an honest discussion with ignorant and dishonest people.

Russell’s combo of stats and winning
Do you define the "winning" variable in your "calculus" solely as titles*?
*Other than 2020, b/c it hurts your argument

quote:So Russell wins 11 but can't be better than MJ because MJ is the better player, but Lebron's 4 but it's only 3 can't be better than Kobe and 5 despite Lebron being clearly the better player any way you measure it.

Explain how the arguments are different. Not by scale, by logic.

The problem is you're not using any actual criteria. You're using your feelings to make emotional arguments without factual or logical structure. You get to change your considerations or variables as you see fit due to this irrationality and emotionality.

At this point I don’t expect anything other than the projection you just posted so congrats on being consistently disingenuous.

Why do you keep lying about that? I didn’t compare them at all.

The implication being that somehow all wins are the same? Or that the early 00s Western Conference isn’t one of most lopsided conference balances in league history?
Instead of asking what you believe “gotcha” questions how about make the point you’re trying to make.
The Power Forward rich early 00s teams like the Kings, the champion Spurs and 3 peat lakers could all win series against that warriors teams that was gassed out by the playoffs. Especially winning at a key position for the Warriors. Draymond vs Webber-Webber all day. Draymond vs Duncan. Shaq kills that squad.

You continue to lie about what I posted. It’s getting pathetic
