You can ski down the gondola line if you take the firebreak gate off of Olympic, if my memory serves me correctly. In good conditions, it is fun tree skiing (maybe the best skiing at Heavenly).

I had no idea. I thought it was illegal-don't cross-danger-boundary area. I just watched a video of someone doing it, actually looked like an awesome run. Maybe that was a better snow year, but when I went, I remember seeing it with rocks and water and all kind of obstacles.
