fwiw, I'd be all for paying more at places like Webb and City Park if it meant that they'd make course improvements, better maintenance, and probably green renovations as well.

The point is they hsve the money and equipment to do it but for some reason don’t. Also they obviously don’t have competent greenskeepers/supers to provide the maintenance and upkeep year round.
I don’t think anyone would mind paying more per round at City, Clark, or Webb if they were in playable shape.

That was my point.

You said Baton Rouge golf is underrated for the prices, but you are paying $30 to basically hit shots to a green. There is no putting, almost every green is wrecked. I would rather pay the $80 and actually play golf.
