With so many teams playing so much "big nickle" as their base, which puts an additional defender who specializes in tackling in space on the field, I'm not sure that the screen game can be quite as big a part of an offense as it was then.

True, but it’s still about creating mismatches and not being predictable with personnel. We can get defenses into personnel packages where the screen can be effective. Or just get it to AK as a receiver. I think the goal is getting him the ball in space close to the LOS and let him work more than it is getting it to him in an actual “screen.”
