Oh so Russia decided to halt their advance. You sure it wasn't because Wagner (the only Russian force with any competence) isn't there anymore. I'm not saying Ukraine is winning but to say Russia won after constantly changing it's strategic goals to make it seem like they have accomplished what they set out to do at the beginning is laughable. If anything this war has become a stalemate with both sides throwing themselves into a meat grinder (ex. Bakhmut)

They don't even want all of Ukraine, but regardless.. we FAFO by "moving one inch closer" despite our commitments otherwise. If the BRICS/Ptero Dollar shoe drops this will go down as the greatest domestic policy frick up in US history.

Everything they said would happen under Trump is being giftwrapped by the trash leadership currently running DC.

I'm just looking at the casualty count. Ukraine has lost between 300 - 350 thousand men. Estimates of Russian losses, are I've heard between 25 to 50 thousand. You do the math.

If I compare the map of Ukraine at the beginning of the war with the map now, All I see now in the disputed areas (Donbas, Bakhmut) in Eastern Ukraine is red. I don't see large blotches of regained blue Ukraine territory, only red.

But I did read reports that Ukraine has committed a 35 thousand-man unit of American-trained and equipped Ukranians. We'll see how that turns out.

But right now, from what I've been able to gather from reports, the Ukrainians got mauled pretty bad.

The ball is in Biden's corner. We'll see what Potatus does.

Not going to happen. It's economically impossible. The dollar not only isn't going anywhere, it's only going to get stronger.

So the area around kyiv, kharkiv, and kherson aren't huge areas of regained Ukraine territory from the first counteroffensive?

I'm thinking the decision to dump Zelle means the Biden / NATO coalition intends to push ahead with their attempt to dethrone Putin.

No, it means he knows too much, and needs to sleep with the fishes.

We are in the process of a massive industrial build-out in North America. We are re-shoring, near-shoring, and friend-shoring our manufacturing away from China. Most of it is coming back to North America and the rest is going to more friendly SE Asian countries. Next, despite the wailing and gnashing of teeth, we are energy independent. Sure, we import some oil (mostly from Canada), but we also export oil. This isn't a dependence issue. This is a refining issue. Our shale oil is light sweet, but our refineries are set up to deal with heavier and more sour crudes right now. So, we export the light sweet and bring in the heavier sours. This problem will fix itself as our refineries make the transition. Third is food. We are a MASSIVE net exporter of food. Being completely energy and food independent, we're in a better strategic position than any other country in the world. Finally, there is no other currency in the world that is large enough, liquid enough, and stable enough to be used as a reserve currency. Even our enemies who absolutely loathe us use it because there simply isn't another option. The Ruble and the Yuan are both tanking. Combining them into some BRICS currency won't solve that. Everyone's finances are screwed to a certain degree, but our currency is the least bad option and that's unlikely to change.

Yep. And I love the fact Russia is sitting in a third of ukraine and the "sovereign" fans say...its a stalemate.

They best "negotiate" with Russia before they have nothing left to negotiate.

Just in the nick of time. The nightclubs in Kiev were on the verge of closing their doors.

When your recruiters are snatching people off the street for conscription, you've already lost.

Tantal,

I agree with you regarding the USD, but is also one of the reasons the entire world loathes us. We are the worst currency manipulators in the world. We dump trillions of dollars in the money supply, cause worldwide inflation, then rack up the interest rates driving countries into recession or stagflation. Even if the loans, and subsequent rates, are not in US dollars, they are often benchmarked against it so the result is the same.

Not even close. Most major countries do it far worse than we do, but nobody gives a shite because they're not invested in those currencies. Don't get me wrong, I don't support our quantitative easing, deficit spending, and printing money out of thin air, but we're far from being the worst. We're just the only one that matters.

Or older dudes that would rather sacrifice some artillery shells, old tanks, and HIMARS to Ukraine rather than sacrificing our sons to defend western Europe. Ukraine is a dirty, corrupt shithole. I view them as nothing but a buffer between Russia and the countries that we are contractually obligated to defend.

Can you please provide a link? I haven’t seen any figures corroborating your casualty count for either side. Are we talking casualties or KIAs?

Ok cop. No surprise this is your argument and you don’t have to foresight to see where this can go. Do people like you not realize we got involved in Vietnam in Dien Bien Phu in 1954, trying force the French to proxy with us to send the same type of equipment we’re sending now Ukraine. Relative to the technology of the time, which I feel I need to point out to someone of your IQ.

The French ended up saying no - we are not fighting your war. Which is what we should be saying to Ukraine. But guys like you - who hold the feelings that “we must protect Ukraine!”. With your stupid arse, and idiots like you, you don’t have the foresight to understand what this could become. It’s because you won’t fight and die for it. You’re nothing but a coward scum bag who is as a cancer to this country as far leftists are. If we could get rid of you both in one swoop, it would be the best thing to do for this nation. You don’t care about this nation. You care about winning the argument online.
