re: Parting ways with dog after a great life.

This morning off a 12 hour night shift the wife and I (no pics) carried our almost 16 yr old Westie to the E Vet and within minutes we knew our path forward. I stayed with him through the end. Peaceful transition. The kids are in college now and the house already isn't the same. I have choked and grunted with tears in my eyes all day.
