We hit the dog track on a bachelor party one day. That was a lot more fun than I thought it would be for a mid-day day drinking excursion

The Heights has a bunch of cool bars with lots of hookers. i’m sure there is a hotel or two which has a pretty cool pool scene during the day but I’m too old to offer advice there

That's probably the Marriott Marquis right near Minute Maid with the Texas shaped lazy river/pool. Be warned, if the wind is blowing too fast (I think 15-20mph) they will close the pool. It didn't seem like really the bachelor party scene the last time I went, it was more 30-40 year olds on staycations, although there were some MILFs.
There are fancy arse restaurants on Westheimer like Steak 48 where you can go pretend you're OT ballers, and there are also often hookers at the bar.
Is Washington Ave still a good bar hopping spot?

The Marriott Marquis pool area seemed to be a great spot for a bachelor party the one time I was there.

Treasures if you want to cause problems for people in committed relationships.
The Heights has a good range of bars but those are mostly for locals in a fairly high end setting. Nothing crazy but a fun environment.

Also to the OP, Montrose has a wide range of restaurants and bars. The restaurants range from high end steakhouses to good BBQ places that won’t run you more than 20-25 bucks. I think the Heights venues are probably a bit more upscale but nothing crazy
