Is it just me or are there significantly more commercials for CFB this year

So now we can't fly to the ball? I hate this.

That’s a tough targeting penalty if it stays - guy is running full speed and QB slides into his tackle zone.

There is going to be some QB that also plays baseball who develops a slide that get him down so quick he'll be drawing at least one targeting a game.

It total crap that you basically have to assume the QB is going to slide and give them an extra 2-3 yards b/c they don't worry about getting popped all that often.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a live ball personal foul not giving a first down in that situation

Targeting isn’t an “after the play” call. It can only be during the play. So this has to be clemsons ball if it’s targeting

They are saying it is after the play was dead. That’s a bit of a stretch but technically correct because the play was dead once he started his slide. Just kind of goes against the spirit of the rule.

Wait how is that not a 1st via the penalty?

It happened after the play was over. Once the play was over, it’s Duke ball.

It was not targeting during the play, which would have given them a first down. Once the slide started, Clemson lost possession.

I've never seen it called that way, but yeah the play is technically over as soon as he begins his slide.

They should definitely change that rule.
