Does anybody keep their propane tank in the garage?

Thanks for the link. I’ve read it’s a big no no to store in the garage and I never knew why or what the big deal was. I’m putting mine back in the garage. However you will notice anywhere you go to buy a tank they are always outdoors.

I have one that stays attached to my grill under the patio. Always in a shaded area.
My other one I use for crawfish boils is in the shed in the backyard.

i keep big tank under the carport. The 1 lb bottles are in a detached shed about 30 yards from the house

I was grilling on a charcoal grill once and had a recently filled tank a few feet away on a patio. It was hot and the tank started releasing out of the relief value. Never seen that before and got nervous with the open fire so close.
I guess the tank was over filled?
