I remember back in '85 or '86 buying my first cassette at a K-Mart. Twisted Sister "Stay Hungry"

It really wasn't special.
I do have a pair of bowling shoes still that I use that I bought from K-Mart.

I remember the last time I walked into a KMart, I think it was the Houma one. Walked in, like half the lights were out, shelved half empty. Didn't see any employees for awhile, and was thinking "Am I supposed to be in here?". Wasn't surprised when they officially announced closing not long after that. They were essentially closed before they closed.
