real good actually

had lacox come out and install a 120gal propane tank for the carport, big upgrade to the bottles. i ran 3/4" pipe to the water heater and cooking appliances

deck furniture came in, assembled last night. i went with a polywood sectional and its really really nice. added another shower fixture in the shower so now its a full body wash. also i wasnt getting the btu's out of the heater with the small bottle and hose, now we have a fully operational situation.

picked up some birds of paradise plants for the deck, planted some wildflowers, did a bunch of decorating inside the carport, and we've done several big meals in there since. soon as this weather straightens out i hope to stain and seal the deck and we will be done

the horizontal pex lines under the deck did freeze, but nothing split or broke

i'll take some pix this weekend

here ya go

everything is done except sealing the deck, hope to do that during this stretch of dry weather.

we held a little smudging ceremony to christen the new spaces and celebrate what a massive improvement this has made in our living space. outdoor living is the best living

heres the carport/kitchen/dining area, fully plumbed for propane at all appliances from a 120gal tank

heres the deck

LINK

It’s nice, I like it because it’s modular you can move the pieces around

Are those ties on the floor joist enough to hold the weight of 2 full bathtubs?

Just seems like you would need something beefier to support all that.

so far so good
I did 2x8 sills and 2x6 joists on 12” centers under 2x6 deck boards. It’s pretty damn solid

Good God. But then again, it fits the rest of the whole setup just fine.

Dude built a sex bathtub situation. But now we’ve learned he also has a “carport/kitchen/dining area”

Not even sure what’s more white trash.

You do you, cgrand. But damn, you’ve got quite the setup out there.

Living on your porch and carport. It’s all the rage

The meter reader is going to shite himself when he walks around the corner and sees this dude cleaning his a-hole on the back porch

Why are you being such a douchebag? If it makes him happy, that's all that matters. Unless you are going to pay for it.

You’re about to have so many pervs out there waiting for y’all to soak.

You’ll end up on pornhub at some point

As a fellow man that loves to sit in a vessel of hot water, outside, naked. I salute you.

Carry on good sir. Might I suggest a TV to watch some sports while getting your soak on.

not a bad idea although the sights and sounds of nature are pretty entertaining as is

working on some plans for an outdoor oven and open wood grill that will back to back with a fireplace/open hearth inside the carport kitchen for my next trick

Cool set up. Not going to lie though, I thought of Kramer from Seinfeld's famous line in the Reverse Peephole episode after looking at the pics.

"Our policy is, we're comfortable with our bodies. You know, if someone wants to help themselves to an eyeful, well, we say Enjoy the show."
