You can almost just play these in class and get rid of the teachers and the kids would learn more than they are today.

I certainly do. Always thought it was boring and couldn’t wait for them to play Reading Rainbow instead

Interjection, show excitement, and emotion. It's generally set apart from a sentence by an exclamation point...

Ow! It's not fair giving a guy a shot down there!

Schoolhouse Rock is the only reason I know the preamble to the Constitution. I had to sing it in my head to write it on my history test in HS.

So weird I’ve been thinking about making a thread on this lately.

I always felt like the singers on many of them sounded so pretentious. Otherwise cool.

Nouns and bill are still most in my head to this day. Among others.

Oh yes. Few years back I was searching for this and ended up coming across a Mad TV parody called Dysfunction Junction.

A bunch of alternative bands from did a tribute album in the 90s. Better Than Ezra's version of Conjunction Junction really swings, and Blind Melon's version of Three Is A Magic Number is just that, magic.

I have that CD. Ween’s version of “the shot heard round the world” is another good one.

Jack Sheldon sang many of the Schoolhouse Rock songs like Conjunction Junction and I’m just a Bill.

Weird that this thread came up. 70's kid and I can still remember the majority of them. I was playing these from Youtube for my grandson on the way to T-Ball Monday. "Conjunction junction", "I'm just a Bill" the one for Nouns and Rufus Xavier Sarsaparilla.

It's how I learned the preamble. I bought the DVD years ago. Oh and Rocking and a Rollin splishing and a splashing over the horizon what can it be. Looks like it's going to be a new country.

I wanted to try this as a kid but we didn’t have ice trays. I asked my mom to buy one and she looked at me like I’d lost my mind. Of course, being a kid, I couldn’t appreciate the fact she’d just recently spent extra money to buy a refrigerator with an ice maker so she didn’t have to bother with ice tray any longer and now here I was asking her to buy more of them.
