LSU wins out and the awards take care of themselves. LSU drops a couple before awards season and the stats won’t matter.

Nabers:
81 targets, 56 rec, 981 yds (17.5), 9 TDs
Catches 69% of targets
Avg 7 rec for 123 yds, 1.1 TD per game

Harrison:
74 targets, 42 rec, 766 yds (18.2), 6 TDs
Catches 57% of targets
Avg 6 rec for 109 yds, .8 TD per game

There is no case to be made for Harrison.

They put Harrison’s name in it a month ago

It’s not even close. If Harrison gets it on name alone, it’s a travesty.

Get ready. They win the trophy the year prior. Look at when Delpit won, it was all off rep

Harrison Jr probably should’ve won it last year, but you couldn’t deny Hyatt’s production.

Nabers has him beat in everything and actually has fewer targets so he is way more efficient as well. Seems like people already have their mind made up tho.

Luther Burden is another name to watch, though being a sophomore may rule him out.

He plays his position with such ease. So smooth catching ball then making defenders miss then outrunning them.

I see this playing out like how Grant delpit won the Thorpe just based on his incredible sophomore year because the runner up that year Jeff Okudah had a better season their Jr year.

I had this same thought as well especially if Ohio State makes it into the playoff and we do not.

Nabers has also player one more game. I guess we're going to just ignore that

I don’t think about this.

The media is so obsessed with Harrison it may not matter what Nabers does.

And you’re going to ignore that Nabers averages more yards and touchdowns per game than Harrison?

Nabers might not have been on their radar early enough.

Nabers was a preseason All American, All SEC & on the original Biletnikoff list to start the year.

They knew all about him from last year. He had 1000+ yards in ‘22.

Nabers 981 yards 9 TDs

BTJ 732 yards 11 TDs

Harrison 766 yards 6 TDs

Considering JD is spreading big numbers between 2 WRs that makes Nabers and BTJ even more impressive

I saw odds on one of the apps a couple of weeks ago and Nabers was like +450, probably shorter now

No love for BTJ11 is crazy.

Crazy? What's crazy is mentioning BTJ in a thread about the nation's best receiver. It ain't him.

BTJ is not even the best receiver on LSU's team! If we were talking about the tallest human on earth would it be CRAZY not to mention BTJ?

What grade did you get in reading comprehension last year in middle school?

Here are Nabers’ numbers:

Receptions - T-6th (56)
Yards - 1st (981)
TDs - T-4th (9) ***BTJ is 1st with 11

Those numbers should put him as the front runner.
