My stupid idea during this horrid stretch was move the home dugout to the 3rd base side. Home team gets to pick the dugout, and if these guys like playing on the road so much then give them the road dugout and locker room.

Every angle on the home record will be covered ad nauseum

Adding some LH bats or known oppo hitters wouldn't hurt, but there are other factors that I think could be addressed to remedy the huge disparity.

A manager with more discipline can insist on video time for each player on the opposing staff. With the travel and free time on the road, players are more likely to spend some researching opposing staffs. This probably doesn't happen when we're in Houston.

And the whole Astros BP not open to the public and gates open 2 hours prior to first pitch needs to GTFO. I get they don't want to be bothered by autograph seeking fans, but they could figure out a schedule to get some guys on the field closer to first pitch, even if it means opening gates 1.5 hrs prior to start
