Even if he didn’t use a boat but let’s say a snorkel and wetsuit the water would have hidden his heat signature to some extent.
That Androscoggin River leads to Brunswick, ME.
There’s an Amtrak station there.
Hopefully law enforcement is aware.
He’s trained military, did the shooting at nightfall, left his car at a boat ramp.
Not hard to believe he had snorkeling gear there.

Agreed, so why wasn't he detained? Definitely was a threat to himself and others.

The pictures of the actual shooter and the pictures of this Card guy look nothing alike to me. The shooter looks like a 25 year old college kid and this Card dude looks 45 and fatter

I don’t disagree but it looks like the photo they are using of Card is a mugshot or something, and a lot of people don’t look themselves in mugshots. The screen shots of the shooter are from videos, so it’s not easy to perfectly compare those 2.
It’s Maine, there’s not exactly a lot of people and if they can confirm a suburu was used and Card owns a suburu that’s a slam dunk even in liberal Maine.

When they started talking about the identity of the shooter on the scanner, I swear the also mentioned the name of the person the Subaru is registered to. I think it was Joseph Townsend.
I may be completely mis-remembering it, but if it is in fact registered to someone else, that is what got me thinking he had another car (his own?) waiting at the boat ramp.

I would almost put money on the perp being dead after shooting him self. 0 attempt to conceal his face at a time it’s super easy to do. But who knows, he’s mentally ill.

when someone called the police last night and said they heard a loud bang behind his house....which is near the boar ramp, this is what I thought happened. That was 10+ hours ago though...
