AFAIK, that remains to be seen. I'm of the opinion that they should hit the areas of high concentration first. Doing this gets them large quantities of lithium to market while the spot price is higher. Once their full scale operation is proven and they are producing a steady supply, spot price will fall. It doesn't maximize our gains potential to prove full scale capability with a 5,600 ton pilot plant with Lanxess.

To put this in perspective, that's only around 306 railcars full per year.

They probably go through that much frac sand in a week out in the Permian basin.

I wonder if the hundreds of salt domes in coastal Louisiana could be reservoirs of unknown Lithium in addition to the salt content already present.

If I remember my chemistry class, lithium is located just above sodium in the periodic table of elements.

It's close in LA though. I've searched and searched and can't find an article/other that mentions this East Texas county/area they're targeting.

That's an understatement. I've been in it for a few years at this point. $2.79 is not great.
