Don’t feel bad for the oyster fishermen at all. They all want to act like they’re dirt poor and the diversion is going to kill off all their business when in reality they all made 10’s of millions off the oil spill and robbed BP blind.

The areas they fishing oysters were freshwater before the levees were built. Along came the levees, the area got saltier, they started making reefs and doing really well with it. Now the area they fish is being returned to fresh water and the fisherman are complaining.
