It's the US for sure. Rumors are all saying that the girl is 15, but I haven't seen anything anywhere that sounds like proof.

I'm sure TMZ is looking for that proof, lol.

But I think that the girl is in high school, and this is stuff she posted on her IG

If you told me she was 16 I'd believe it
If you told me she was 25 I'd also believe it

Unless Giddey checked her license she could've said anything. Unfortunately that won't hold up in court

He’s fricked. Search Josh Giddey on X/Twitter. He’s going to be a walking meme for the rest of his career/life. It’s blowing up online and if it’s true he’s going to be crucified.

Some of the memes are pretty funny.

Popovich has been a great coach...but I often find myself growing weary of his "crap". Chastising the Spurs' fans for booing Kawhi is pretty much bs.

Huge fan of Kawhi but...can fully understand why many Spurs fans would want to boo him. He (and his UD) screwed over the Spurs big time...and the Spurs still haven't recovered.

So, she's a junior in high school?
Lots to learn about this one.

If she's not junior, that puts her at 16 or 17, which is legal in Oklahoma. Obviously no clue where she lives or when he started dating her or if she's actually a junior.

This seems like another Wander situation.

Yeah, the Internet seems sure that this girl is in high school, and it's obviously inappropriate for Giddey to date and screw high-school girls.

But if she's 16, then it's not a crime.

Supposedly she is from California, where the age of consent is 18.

Oh. Yeah, it obviously matters where this took place.

To be clear, the video’s and photos only show that one girl

But previous tweets from people that are being dug up suggests Josh Giddey has regularly talked to underage high school girls. Plural. It’s really not looking good

On another topic, is competition for the postseason in the West going to be lower this year?

Last season, the Rockets and Spurs were the only tanking teams for most of the season. Then, at the very end, the Mavs, Jazz, and Blazers tanked to get ping-pong balls.

This season, the West already looks like it has four bad teams: the Spurs, Grizzlies, Jazz, and Blazers. The Grizzlies will be better when Ja gets back, but I still don't expect them to be good. And I think that the other three are already committed to the tank.

So, to everyone arguing that "the West is going to be as tough as last season," I don't agree. I think that there are really only 11 teams fighting for the 10 postseason spots.

The East might actually be more competitive than the West this year.

Look at what you said though. 11 teams. Now go back in time a few years before the Playin and say 11 teams fighting for 8 spots and say the West isn’t that strong this year.

Hot take: I like Chet more than Wemby. OKC is loaded assuming Giddey doesn’t get carted off to jail

I think there is only one elite team I. The west. Denver.

Then there are 7-8 teams that are roughly equal and it will depend who gets hot/healthy.

How I think it shakes out:

1. Denver
2. New Orleans
3. Lakers
4. Minnesota
5. OKC
6. Dallas
7. Sacramento
8. Golden State
9. Clippers
10. Memphis

Houston sucks and will fall apart. Spurs will likely end up ahead of them imo

Don’t be surprised if the Grizzlies haven’t given up quite yet

No way Lakers finish that high unless they make some moves

Yeah with Lebron and AD having to put in 40 minutes a night just to keep them afloat, it’s just a matter of time before their 20-30 game injury pops up.

They also have the 15th hardest schedule remaining, Pels have the easiest

It's sounding more like 14 than 16.
