We all get it, attendance is down for Non Con games and people leave early during blow outs. The truth is, if you wanted to watch a game 30 years ago your options were relatively limited which in turn forced people into the stadiums. I remember purchasing games on the JP sports network, it was poor quality but if you were not able to make the game in person and it wasn't being aired on a major network it was your only option. Today, every game is aired through some sort of streaming service. People can now watch from the comfort of their own home, in HD with no restroom lines, great food, as much drink as you purchased, and no traffic.

The days of 100+k people cramming into a stadium for each game is over, live streaming has killed it.
